Cam Question?
Am installing a MMS Stage II head and cam package at the end of the month. I have noticed some are using a nitrous grind cam. What are the advantages? Who makes this cam? I think I saw that it was a Comp cam. Any specs, details, ect. would be appreciated.

Most of the camshafts you will see classified as "nitrous" grinds (for use in a streetable lsx based motor) are going to have a bias to the exhaust side (split duration) and may have a slightly wider LSA.
Honestly I wouldn not suggest going with a nitrous grind unless you are spraying at least 250-300rwhp+ of N2O. By definition a camshaft that is designed for nitrous is not going to run as well/be as streetable as a NA designated camshaft. If the car is a daily driver you will be sacraficing 99% of the time for specs that will only use the few times you spray. And on a nitrous shot under 250rwhp or so there really isn't that much to be gained anyway.
Nitrous is pretty forgiving on things like compression, etc. - if you are really worried about it I would focus on a good free-flowing exhaust system. Set the car up for maximum NA performance though, and it will generally be a better overall performer.
