Default installed CLB, same problems

Okay, just received the CLB from thunder racing and installed it and still having fuel shut off and the same two DIC, pull key and service column lock.I have done everything possible check battery voltage, clean key vat
check all fuses, clear codes, disconnected battery for half hour, anything I'm missing?
I guess I have to make appointment with a tuner, but I would like to be able to drive the car there instead of having the car towed.MY last tow messed up my front nose of my car, because clearance.HELP

I had the same thing. CLB didn't work. I sent my PCM and had the 1.5 mph tuned out. Car works but I still get the codes.
After reading 1,000,000 posts I have come to the conclusion that nobody knows why it happens and nobody knows how to fix it. As far as I am concerned the CLB is just a bandaid...if it works for you.

It's most likely the IGNITION SWITCH not reading the key well.

How does the ignition switch have anything to do with the car cutting off at 1.5 MPH.

I had a local tuner do that. And I still have the problem with the codes. Now what.........

This all started because my battery went low.

If the pellet on the KEY is not being READ correctly the SECURITY SYSTEM kicks in (which is what's really going on here). GET IT NOW? When the lock was tuned out or removed, the only security you now have is the fuel cutoff to keep a thief from getting away once they start the car. If the key's not read correctly-it thinks your the bad guy.

How did you think the resistor pellet gets read??

What did your "local tuner" do to the PCM?

Lets see...... I bought a used PCM for my car and gave the car and the new PCM to him and he took it to the Chevy dealer where he works and put the other PCM into it and programmed it for my car. I still got the DIC codes. He then put my original PCM back in with the performance tune. Maybe the next stop is changing the BCM.

Are you sure 100% your friend flashed a program that was not updated with any recalls? Being that he did it at a GM dealership, I suspect all their programs are already updated with the effed up version. (recall 2)

On my PCM, I have GM recall number 1 (done without my consent) and the CLB. No DIC codes, No fuel cutoff, and no column lock!
