Electrical connector for CAGS
What type of connector is used on the CAGS connection on the transmission of a C5? It's the weather proof one that is used all over the GM cars. Also, does anyone know where I can get some?
Thanks,
C5illness

Go to the MALL pull down, look under Group Purchase, you will find the part there then check out this web site
http://www.97vette.com.
It is very easy to install takes about 5min.. :chevy

Hi Charlie LI NY,
Are you talking about the CAGS eliminator product? That has the connector that I'm looking for. I want to know what type of connector that is. What is the connector called. Maybe C5TECH can answer this?

http://www.delphiauto.com is the manu,
http://www.pios.com may be able to sample / sell you want you want.
I have found in the past that the part numbers for the connectors can be a little hard to figure out. Some connectors may not even be available.
good luck !

$10 says it's a GM/Delco 'proprietary' connector

Re: Electrical connector for CAGS (gbm)
I don't know if I will take that bet -- but now I am curious myself.
I have the catalog right here --- is that connector 6 pins in a line ?
I has been a while since I did my cags.

Like most exterior connectors,it is a weatherpak connector...A "good" GM parts counter man can look up the p/n for any connector....
