can or will a camaro ls1 torque converter fit a c5 corvette both with
4l60e transmissions ??????? thanks

I do not believe it will fit - also, FYI, the 1997 / 1998 Chevy Blazers (to name a few, there are plenty others) ALSO have the 4L60E tranny

some converters from the rest of the GM line WILL fit... IE - the "Mike Mercury" converter, which I believe is from an STR, or SSr or whatever they are, he runs one in his vette, raises the stall a few hundred RPM...apparently there's also one from an S10 or a mini van that works as well... do a search for Mike's post on this...

those converter will not work for me i make a little to much power for those but thanks for the info

LT1/SBC 4L60E/700R4 torque converters will work.. make sure to get one with torque converter clutch lockup.
