^^Call RPM. They have what you want even if web site does not show what you are looking for. Talk to Rodney. My brother and I have done a lot of business with him. Can't go wrong.
what would be the best package to get. what stage and how strong are they? cause like in an f-body 10bolts suck. and for an automatic youd be good with a 12 bolt and m6 would be good with 9" how do they compare. IRS is completely new to me
The stage 2 and 3 differentials will work just fine in your C5. What might be confusing you is that they mention upgrading the 2005 to a 2006. this is because they weakened the 2005's for some reason.
Which differential you need depends on your power level and how you use the car. As mentioned earlier your best bet is to call Rodney and tell him what you are trying to accomplish. He won't steer you wrong.

The stage 2 or 3 label is indicative of the level of upgrade they offer for their differentials. From what I'm seeing, the C5 diffs are still being built by RPM but only in the "2" or "3" stage categories. The use of C6 output shafts as a method of upgrading the C5 diff is something that's been going on for some time now and they use them in their stage 2 versions. Look at the stage 3 versions and they are using the 300M (tool steel) aftermarket shafts for even more strength than the C6 pieces.
how strong would you say the stock differentials are? ill basically be running the track like 1-3 times a year and maybe lay into it on the streets every now and then ill probably not run the car from a stop. so you think id be good for awhile on a stock differential.

Actually quite good, but the real killer is usually wheel hop. Sticky tires and clutch dumps can get expensive. That's why when I built my drive train, I went with the stage 3 with the 3-rib case. I would rather have some "overkill" in the strength department than not, but that's just me. I also found and installed a later ('02) torque tube assembly since they have the larger, stronger, driveshafts inside than the '99s. Bolts directly up with no mods needed.
