just wondering? i have 60,000 miles on my 98 and was curious if it would be ok to install nitrous or will the higher mileage make it more susceptible to something breaking? also how much more wear will this be on the motor?

60k miles? hell, you're just breaking in!!! if the car is primarily stock now and has been taken well care of, you should have no problems with nitrous. what wear to expect? well, for starters, if the clutch in the car is the original, you will need to plan to replace it with regular nitrous use.

Intel55 ran TNT 100 shot on his car with 85K+ miles on it, and didn't have any trouble or parts breaking so I'd say you'll be fine with a 100 shot. :D

Get the kit from a Forum Vendor. Try the group purchases page in the Corvette Forum Mall. A stage one kit will run you $400+ and a stage 2(recommended) will run $800+. I would also recommend a window switch for safety.

Nitrous is not hard to install but it is time consuming...
