As stated, you need to pull the codes via the DIC and the DIC controller. Push and hold the fuel button then the Options button 4 or 5 times in 5 seconds. The DIC will now go through the codes. You can use the DIC buttons to manually go through them. Make sure you note if the have a C or H adjacent to the codes displayed.
car was cranking fine after i had to pull over but appeared to not be getting any spark or fuel.? pulled DIC codes this evening after work and no codes ended in a C only a H...40bcm 9 codes......AO LDCM 3 codes...A1 RDCM 3 codes.....A6SCM 2 codes.....BO RFA 2 codes. i tried to right down the exact codes but it goes throught them so fast....the car starts without any problems now but iam scared to take it out for faer of being stranded somewhere...please help

Initially, the on-board diagnostics go into the "automatic" mode, which shows each module's DTCs in a

For each module, all DTCs will be displayed. If none are present in a module, you will see "no more codes" on the ICP display.
There are two kinds of DTCs, "Current" and "History," designated with a letter suffix, "C" or "H". A current code indicates that the malfunction is present in the system whose module is displaying data. A history code indicates a problem existed in that module sometime in the last 40 or 50 ignition cycles. When not accompanied by a current code of the same number, it is possible it's evidence of a previous problem. Now solved, that was not removed by clearing codes. More likely is that a history code indicates an intermittent malfunction.
"Intermittent" are the most challenging DTCs. An intermittent may have happened only once, may have happened more than once but is inconsistent in its appearance or may be happening on a regular basis but not at the time the IPC is displaying codes. History codes can also be caused by a current malfunction in a system that is not Operating at the time DTCs are displayed. An example is the rear window defogger, which doesn't operate until the BCM detects engine rpm. For history codes set by a system that does not operate with the key on and engine off, a special diagnostic tool called a "scan tester is necessary to properly diagnose the malfunction.
Once the IPC has displayed all 11 modules, the system goes into the manual mode, which allows selection of each module, using combinations of DIC buttons. The manual mode can also be entered at any time during the automatic sequence by pressing any button except "E/M". Once the IPC displays "manual diagnostics", you may select a particular module by pressing the options button to go forward or the "trip" button to go back. Once a system is selected and a DTC is displayed, if more than one are present; press "gages" To move forward or "fuel" to go back. To exit the diagnostic mode at any time, press E/M". If you want to erase or "clear" codes, press "reset". Clearing a code does not repair a problem. You are simply erasing the evidence of it in the module's memory.

Get a fuel pressure guage on it when it happens. Fuel pumps generally DIE after a hot restart-they typically stay running when they are hot but once you turn them off, the seize up till they cool off again. Eventually, if it's a pump, even cooling off won't help.
Stopping there looking them up. It sure sounds like a battery or battery cable problem. How old is your battery? Have you check the cable connections at the battery and the cable at the starter? Please also check the battery voltage with a volt meter across the battery with the engine off. You should have 12.5 or greater.
i was having battery problems only because i rarely drive the car....it has 1,300 miles on it so the battery used to go completly dead and when it did i would completely take it out of the car and recharge it. i think this is where all those codes came from....but 6 monthes ago i bought a new battery and because i dont drive it but once a month or so it rarely goes completely dead but weak enough to not start the car so i put it on the charger for a hour or so but i dont disconnect the battery from the car......iam really not even certain what setting the charger should be on....i must sound pretty stupid to people....i love nice cars but dont know much about them..anyway there is nothing wrong with the cables or connections....
No offense, but if you have to ask that question, you really need to seek the help of a qualified mechanic.....or hook up with a local forum member to help you.
