My last compressor I bought was a new 4 seasons. That's been a while haven't bought one. But buyer beware. I would buy a remanufactured, vs rebuilt and get the longest warranty. There are some throwtogether rebuilts' out there.

Might try a salvage yard
I've replaced several GM compressors with ones obtined at Junk or Salvage yards. Don't think the vette compressor is VETTE ONLY. Correct me if I am wrong. I've had to reuse my original brackets as these seem to be vehicle specific. You should be able to see which models from which GM vehicles will work.
