LG Streets installed..pics and comments

Caution: his install is for a '99; most of it is correct, except for some bolt sizes and such. I did my install on my '01 coupe, so some bolts were different.
Some observations:
-Have at least 19" of clearance between your floor and the bottom of the car (if doing this in the garage with jack stands). I went with an even 20", and it made the install of the driver side header much easier.
-On '01's, you will have to unbolt the starter to get enough clearance for the pass. side header (in from the top). Don't need to remove it completely though.
-Get the fuel line and brake vacuum assist tubing out of the way. Gives you more room to work.

-alternator has to come out; no other way. Behind the alternator you'll find a coil pack bolt as well.

-remove this ground strap and neg. lead on driver side; the header will hang up on it during install:

And finally, here's a clip of the competed unit through my BB route 66's:

First startup was awsome. Great sound, and lot's more grunt! Power is seamless from 1800 all the way to redline. No code's yet (I've got the rear O2's unplugged), but I expect some after a few drive cycles.
Best $995 I've ever spent!

Drove the girl to work today. The sound it makes now is sick! WOT is a mad rush of torque, and second gear is useless (3:90's don't help!!) 3rd is 110mph RIGHT NOW! I did notice traffic moved over much faster today; could it be the freight train noise coming up behind them??
Threw the CEL pulling into the office garage, which I expected. I'll pull codes tonight, but I suspect it'll relate to the missing rear O2 sensors.
As a side note, my damn fuel gauge fell to E again!! Went from 3/4 full indicated (filled it up last night, still wasn't calibrating correctly) to zero. I can't win for trying!
