nitto tire question, is this safe??
Hey guys, just got my coupe a few weks ago, came with z06 replica wheels, 17x9.5, 18x10.5, but with oem tire sizes, I would think that the tires would look a little streched but they dont at all
anyway, im looking at getting some nitto invos
245/40/17 front
295/35/18 rear
will the fronts be ok???
Id like to get the nitto nt-05
255/40/17
295/35/18
but they havent been out long enough to know if there gonna last at all

Nitto lists approved rims size up to 9.5 for the 245 invo on the front. If thats the tire you want to go with sould be
safe on that rim, can't say how handling will be effected, if at all though. Check the link,

Here are a few other options
BF Goodrich KDW NT, many have used this tire do a search for opinions
Kumho ECSTA MX
Potenza RE760 sport, new tire
Firestone Firehawk Wide Oval, many have used do a search for opinions
May want to post your question under the wheel/tire section on the forum for more information.
Good luck,
Darion

Since you have Z06 rims why not go with the 265/40/17 Z06 front tire size?

BTW, the Wide Oval and the Potenza listed above come in the correct Z06 sizes.
