Default Need help quick sc or twin turbo.

Ive been debating which one to get for a while now. Now the time has come but i would like some opinions on this one. You can check my profile to see what i have now pretty much every bolt on and heads and cam i am making 417 rwhp and 410tq. I want to put it on this motor now but im going to build a new one this winter. I like the tt beacuse all i have to do is change boost for more power as to changing pulllies and belts. but they take longer to spool up and you have to deal with lag. Sc the power is right there but a pain to change boost and you have to drill out the crank for the key for the pully. I have a lift so either way they wont be to bad to install. I was just trying to get some pros and cons before i get one. Either a sts tt or a procharger.

With your setup,,IMO turbos would be good. With your stall the turbos would be building boost right off.

If your decision was between a TTix kit and any good centrifugal system, I would choose TTix. With the STS in the equation, I would choose a good centrifugal system. I have no regrets.

go turbo. Unless you go huge turbo lag sshouldnt be a big issue. Our engines breath well enough to get them spooled up fast. The low end torque will be higher than a cent blower and boost for boost the turbo will out power any kind of supercharger. Good luck

A&A Supercharger kits are very cheap and will make GREAT power. A TTIX kit in alot more expensive but had advantages over a super charger kit by changing boost ect. A TT kit will not take nearly as long as you think to spool. Let me know if i can help you out with anything and i will be glad to answer your ?'s
