Default Strange electrical problem

I would appreciate your thoughts or suggestions in connection with a problem I am trying to solve. The car is a Z06 2001.

I was driving yesterday and when I parked the car I noted that the headlight doors won't close (the lights do work however). The DRLs, the backup lights and flashers do not work either.

All this happened when I replaced the DRLs with LEDs. As it was suggested in this site I also used a flashing module but it did not seem to function at the time of the install. It flashed the front LEDs normally but the rears were dim (I use at the rear LEDs but those have load resistors integrated in them already). So I drove the car for an hour with the stock flasher (hyper flashing) and this is when the problem occurred.

The car shows some BCM codes pointing to the DRLs and backup lights relay circuits.

I think all this is BCM related but I am not sure about the headlight doors. Does the BCM control them also?

I checked the obvious such as clean system grounds but found nothing wrong.

Thanks in advance for the assistance.

Put the stock lights back and see if the problem goes away.
