You are correct, I should make sure I can handle what I have already. I was just planning ahead, so any advice on what engine mod's I can do to increase my HP? I'd like to hit 800 or 900 WHP? Anyone guide me to how I can manage to hit those marks?
well the guys are correct ,i broke 3 trannys before getting an flt tranny that could hold up with the new found power ,be prepared to fork out some serious dough for the trans that can handle the 8oo rwhp , 4 grand for there eliete tranny ,there comes a point ,well it did for me when i had to draw a line , new motors ,trannys, rearends , also u gotta get real familar with your car as in, u need the manuals to really work on your car or u fork out major money to get things fixed on a regular basis ,which really sux,i just dont have extra money to break my **** everytime i go to the dragstrip,it gets very expensive,u really need to make 6 digit figures ,some do & some dont ,or u get a drag car & set it up & u use it to race on the strip & dont rACE UR street car ,which for me is kinda hard to do
lets be honest have you ever had/owned a 500 plus rwhp car before, no offense intended but I don't think you have, drive your car for a month or two, six seven hun HP all kinds of stuff starts breaking w/600 rwhp how many cars are gonna pull up next to you that you can't handle 600rwhp you start beating bikes at that power(not all bikes) another thin g a 600 rwhp car on the street can be a HANDFUL As Stan Lee (spiderman) once said with great power comes great responsability. just a thought has a friend or rival(jealous) challenged you to race? cause you seem to want to put the jug on no matter what anybody says. good luck whatever path you take
800 to 900 hp in a street driven car does not go hand in hand with someone who doesnt want to blow his engine! If you wish to have that much Hp,be prepared to spend a ton of money and time replacing broken pieces and upgrading to better components.I say leave it alone as there very almost zero places on the street you can even try to use all the power!

Dude? Directed by Sam Raimi and written by David Koepp (wikipedia), but stan showed up in the movie, not to go off topic or anything.
I was quoting the comic book, circa 1965 or 66 I was 15-16 years old at the time and a comic book aficionado, don't remember exactly who said it but stan lee def. wrote it
