Take it to a few autocrosses first, see how the car behaves then decide. You can reduce you times quite a bit by lowering the car on the stock bolts and dialing in some negative camber on the front and rear wheels and some toe-out in the front. I could give you my settings but I don't know what your driving style and skill level is. Before your first event I suggest you flush your braking system with new fluid.
Your profile states your vehicle is supercharged, it will be difficult to control on an autocross track. Good luck.
whats your budget? DRM, pfadt and LG make good coilovers for about $2k.
I love my DRM coilovers; on the road track with R compounds, the car is so smooth and predictable. And on the street, it doesn't beat me up.
T1 sways all around for me but the pfadt ones look sweet.
Don't skimp out on tires; I use toyo R888's so I can drive on the street with no issues, yet still pull some high g's on the road course.
Read up in the autocross/RR forum for lots of great threads.
edit: oh yeah, everything the guy above me wrote should be done first I forgot about the basics.

Thank you sir!!! I'm glad that you are enjoying our setup!
To the OP. We have been doing this a long-long time and can get you setup!!!
just looking to upgrade my suspension, (sway bars, shocks, etc.) some track and autocross, but still driven on the street!
who do you guys recommend?
thanks
will
^^Buy some used C5 Z06 springs and sway bars with metal end links. Buy some 08 Z06 shocks from Gene Culley.
After you get done get a good alignment.
Also recommend you look into better rims and tires if you want to realize suspension improvements. Everything you do is to improve tire traction. Very important to remember and not lose sight of.
There are lots of ways to go depending on your goals and budget. You can go cheap and you can go very expensive, or something in between.

c5z is the least expensive and best starting point by far.
there are further tweaks that can be done with a good c5z set up. If that doesn't work for you, you can then move on to bigger and better (and more $$) setups.
Go to the Autocross and Road Racing section and spend some time there. You are fortunate that there are some really good tracks, all within 3 hours of you where you can drive the crap out of your car and then drive it back home. Once you get a couple of track days under your belt, then you will have a better idea of what you need. Most people need seat time more than anything else. If supercharged, you might need some cooling upgrades (ask me how I know). BTW, just did a track day at Lowes Motor Speedway last Friday. What a blast. You need to get that on your schedule for next year. Good luck with your upgrades.
