The drivers seat in my c5 has the powered lumber and powered foward and backward. The back and forth works fine, but the 3 lumbar buttons don't work. Now, if I hold my ear down by the motor thats located right underneadth the front of the seat, I can hear a click when I try the switches. Does that mean it is a switch problem or a motor problem?
fuse 3 in the passenger footwell is good to go. I looked through other threads to try and find the same problem and didnt see anything. But I did see where there is a relay under the seat. Could that be it? Just not for sure since the forward and backward movements work, but the lumbar and side cushions don't. All I get when I move those switches is a click from the motor. Does that motor control all movements of the seat?
BTW, thanks for the schematics, but I have no clue what I am looking at when I see them! I am an ammo guy for the gov't...LOL!!!
Find a frend with a Multimeter, with that schematic, and start troubleshooting. Anything else is just a guess at this point. If you are hearing a click, it's probably one or more of the relays, instead of the motor/pump. That said, if you hear the motor/pump running, you probably have a leak in the air line or the bladder, but if none of them work, the mmotor probably inn't running. HTH
Nope, motor does not run when I hit the 3 lumbar switches, all I here is a click. Maybe it is a relay. Now, are those soldered in or can I just pull them out and put new ones in?
This is from the Manual:

Lumbar Pump Replacement
Removal Procedure
The lumbar pump and control module are separate units that are attached to each other by a wire harness and a hose. They are supplied and replaced as an assembly. The lumbar pump is contained in a vinyl pouch under the seat and is tie strapped to the seat adjuster torque tube. The attached control module is contained in a vinyl pouch and is secured with J strips to the bottom of the seat support springs. The service part is supplied with connector fittings and the air hoses are labeled #3, #4, and #5 to aid in assembly.

If you don't do some troubleshooting, you could end up spending unnessary $$$$$$$$$. Start by checking wiring and connectors!!!
