Turn SIgnal Problems

I am having a problem with my right rear turn signal. I have checked the bulbs and both are working. If I use the flashers they bulbs work and with the light on or off the bulbs work. When using the turns signal I get a fast flash which I thought meant a bad bulb.

Can someone please help

bulbs are cheap... change them.
It is possible that the one of the filaments is broken but occassionaly makes contact and works.

I have the same problem with my left rear. Change the bulbs. If that doesnt work, its very likely that you have a bad Multifunction 'stalk' switch. Sorry to bear such bad news, but I'm in the same boat

Also try cycling the hazard switch several times.

Turn signal lights

Something to think about. I had that problem on my 82 S-10. The dealer pointed to a bad blub in the door. Something about total impedance. Chaeck all your bulbs.
