Default LG Big 3 cat back performs !!!!

Props to LG MOTORSPORTS. The big 3 flows good enough that cut outs only make .25 more rear wheel hp.

i love my big 3 exhaust and i love how deep it sounds. good quiet idle and loud and deep WOT. cant wait to do headers, heads and cam to really make it come alive.

pretty impressive that the cutouts only make a 1/4 more hp

allngn_c5 has done some testing. He was just telling me in another post how good it performed compared to cutouts and I was impressed.
I plan on picking up a set for my little project. I guess the full 3" pipe w/ high flow muflers comes from Borla...they make their headers. They look great but I hear they are tough to line up, but I have a 2 post lift that will make life easier.

There a nightmare to line up. I still have 1 set of tips sticking out 1 inch further than the other set. Also the clamps are total junk. I had to replace all of them. Sounds good though.

Well, Im not looking forward to it. Wonder if they can be wrestled up in there partially assembled ? May have it tig welded in certain places once they are lined up , but just enough to remove when I **** the rear end out the back of the car from the torque.

I think he was going for sarcasm by saying GHL is a POS.

How about back to back dynos from one catback to the LG catback?

I've seen people claim cutouts have no gain on a smaller catback and I hear people claim upwards of 20rwhp on stroker motors.

I dont know what to believe.

Keep in mind the Big 3" catback won't make much of a performance difference unless you have a full 3" exhaust. That means you'll need headers with a 3" xpipe system. Some headers like dynatech come with a 2.5" xpipe.

Good luck getting them to line up man. They flow great but not the easiest to put together. Mine are on and are not aligned very well. When they assembled the big 3, it was tack welded and then the clamps were put on. Looks ok but far from perfect.

I think the big 3 picked up 8-10 rwhp over bullets. You'd have to ask someone at LGM what my car did. I never got a dyno sheet showing the bullets numbers overlayed with the big3.

They sound good though. Despite some of the issues with them, they work. Cutouts only picked up .25 rwhp and .11 rwtq on my 402.
