Default New and Improved Bushing Kit

Pfadt is proud to announce our new and improved Polyurethane Control Arm Bushing Kit!

The OEM control arm bushing in the Corvette are large and soft, which leads to a steering response that leaves much to be desired and a loss of camber when you need it most. With the Pfadt Control Arm Poly Kit installed in your Corvette you will find the razor sharp steering response that you expect and the suspension control that you need.

This new kit features hard anodize aluminum sleeves for improved durability, lubrication retention and lower friction! With the combination of the micro-pores on the surface of the hard anodizing and the new grooved bushings, the Pfadt Poly Control Arm Kit can retain more of our specially formulated grease then ever before! The system is now more effective at continuously re-lubricating the working surfaces for silky smooth operation! The front upper control arm bushings now utilize a retaining plate and snap ring to keep the control arm from flexing during track use. To make installation even easier many of the bushings are a two piece design!

This kit is currently available for immediate delivery for the C5 and C6 Corvette, the C6 Z06 kit will be available shortly! Please give us a call with any questions!

Have a great weekend everyone!

I’ve done lots of suspension work on several C3 Corvettes mostly using poly bushings front and rear. None on the C5 (yet)

How does removal of the factory rubber bushings compare – (As far as removal procedures).

Your poly bushings look well engineered.

$ = ? – Front set, Rear set & as a complete F&R set?

The best way to remove the factory bushings is with a press. For bushings that you can't get in a press the next best is to burn the bushing out with a torch. This is a sure-fire way to get the bushing out... and also make a bit of a mess. The front uppers are really easy to get out. These you just need to grab the end of the pin that goes through the bushing in a vice, rotate and pull. Front uppers only take about two minutes per side.

Current pricing is always available at our website. Here is a direct link to the kit.

We currently only sell the kit as a complete front and rear kit.
