Default C5 runs hot

I installed a shark front end on my 97 vette which raised my running temp to 205F where as before the mod it was running at 195F.The new front end seems to have more open area than the stock front. The new front end is much lower to the ground than the stock front.
Before I invest in a new larger radiator I thought maybe someone might have a solution? The engine has a few simple mods and likes to run at 195F.

check radiator for debris. these cars are like giant street vacs and suck up anything and everything. you may not notice by just peaking at your raidator you have to really get in there and look. I was having slight overheating troubles with my car as well. It wasnt getting to the point where I had to shut the car down but it was at the point where it began to raise a concern. Like you, it was just out of the blue that my car (which is a 97 just like yours) started overheating. I replaced everything under the sun. When I got sick of it I decided to pull the radiator (which isnt too bad of a job) and thats when I noticed it was covered in debris like a filter out of a shop vac. I havent installed the radiator since cleaning but I'm pretty confident that cleaning of the debris off the radiator will help with the slight overheating issues I was having. Just for what it's worth 205 temps are mild. some may not even consider that to be overheating but to be honest I'm the same way you are in that if the car runs a certain temp and then all of the sudden it starts running hot I believe you have valid reason for concern and it's worth looking into.
