Rearview Mirror
Working around on a new to me 2000 Vert and discovered I had no power wires going to the rearview mirror. Question do all Rearview Mirrors have power to them? Mine has Map Lights that obviously don't function. Thanks in advance. ..."pear"

Yes all C5's had power running to the rear view mirror because thats where the map lights are. There are 2 different types of rear view mirrors for the C5. The auto dimming mirror (electrochromatic) and the one that doesn't auto dim. The auto dimming mirror has LED map lights, and the non auto dim mirror uses a festoon type incandescent bulb for the map lights.

Mirror has the 4 pin hole, I'll have to look in the morning when I get home from work to see if the wire is tucked up under the trim. Thanks Guy's, ..."pear"

Well sure enough it was tucked up under the trim. Any "known" reason or problem why it may have been disconnected and tucked away, or a chance it may have never been connected? ..."pear"

Hey Tim,i think your the ONLY guy that i know that 
when they CANT sleep! LOL
My guess is,the windshield was replaced and when the trim was removed,they didnt realize the harness was in the way when they reinstalled it
