After driving 4 hours from Dallas to Snyder, Texas I pulled into the hotel and the passenger's side footwell is full of water. IT's condensate, not antifreeze, which means my drain is plugged. I don't have a lift and don't have any tools. It was 102 today and will probably be that tomorrow, but I can't use the ac. I've mopped up the water as well as I could. The computer had a few drops on it, but was not wet and it doesn't seem damaged.
Any suggestion? I mean, other than the obvious crude ones that I can think of
Go to a car wash and use their vac to get as much water out as you can. This will get the computer dry for now.
I get to my drain from the bottom.
If you are a small guy, you could jack up the car with a low clearance jack from Wal-Mart and DIY. That jack will get used at other times for other things so it is not a waste.
OR, run with no AC until you can get home and fix it.
When you do it, snip the small drain hole end off of the drain tube. This will keep it from doing this to you again.
Good luck
