Default Seat Assist Problems

I recently developed the following problem with my easy exit seat assist:

When I remove the key the seat doesnt slide back to allow the easy exit. However, if I use the control switch on the side of the seat it moves back no problem.

Also, the unlocking of the doors and retraction of steerign wheel works very inconsistently.

What can I check to fix this thanks!

Simple things first, check the wireing (2 connectors) left side of driver's seat. Pull the codes and post them here.

Ok tried the seat connector, all looks fine..cleaned it and all...

I was thinking maybe its the sensor that detects when the key is removed that is going bad/dirty.

Anyone know where the easy exit sensor is located and what it looks lie? I want to check it out and clean it perhaps.

Thanks

YEs...like I said the doors unlock and the steering wheel retracts (not always but often) but the seat never goes back.

Did you find a fix? I have the same problem! Everyrthing else works and it is turned on in the DIC, FOB is programmed too, but the seat just stopped moving back for me to exit out of the blue.

How old is the battery? I had some similar issues that were fixed after I replaced the battery.

Haven't thought of that. I will put a new battery in when I get back to the states in December and see if it does the trick.
