Time to change trans & Diff fluids
get the car up, level front to back (this is important to get correct amount of fluids in)
trans fill is on the dr side, about the middle of trans, halfway up, with a sensor plug on it (undo that). drain plug is towards the back on the bottom.
diff fill plug is one the back of the diff, towards pass side, diff drain is on the bottom.
remove fill plugs first, then undo drain plugs. they are not hard to find, look around.
get ready to catch the fluid. inspect fluid for metal bits hopefully there aren't any.
replace drain plugs.
get a hand pump to get the fluid from the bottles to the fill holes. pump until it starts coming back out. trans will take about 4qts, maybe a little less. diff will take just under 2 qts.
replace fill plugs, you're done. if you are paranoid like me, go drive the car, then raise the rear up, crawl under and check for leaks.
i like amsoil ATF for the trans, severe gear oil for the diff, also had good results with redline fluids (use ATF fluids for manual trans). i am sure GM stuff works fine too.
if the diff fluid does not have friction modifier already mixed in, you will need that as well.
oh and make sure you have something to degrease garage floor, no matter how careful you are, you will spill some

enjoy.
