A slightly different x-pipe question??
I have Corsa Touring on my car with the stock H-pipe right now.Going to do a slight mod(cover the inlet anti resonance ports) to get a bit more sound from them. I got a steal of a deal on an almost new Corsa X-pipe. I know they reduce the crackle and pop on decel,,but just how much?? With the Touring as they are now,,I kinda like the low rumble pop,,and don't want to loose it all !! Will I be disappointed with the X?? After all ,,you are kind of committed once you cut off the H
!! Any opinions?

Had the Touring and H for a little over a year,,and not bad,,although I wouldn't mind a little bit more sound. As stated I researched and found if you slip a short length of 2 1/2" exhaust pipe and cover the resonance ports visible just inside the muffler inlet,,it brings the sound level up close to the Pace Cars. I plan to do this at the same time I do the X. For the M6 I was just wondering if the X completely(or greatly) reduces the decel rumble,,as I don't want to loose ALL of it,,and as stated once you cut the H there is no going back! Looking for folks experience after install,,regardless of muffler type!!
