Default Active Handling Warming Up/Reduced Power Mode

I tried posting this in Scan & Tune but only got one response so I thought I would try this section as well.

Before anyone says it I did do a search but my problem seems a little different than anything I'm finding. I will give a quick run down and would appreciate any help in terms you don't have to be a ASE certified mechanic to understand.

Thanks for any help in advance.

Old motor
383, LS1 heads, LS6 intake, 30lb injectors, long tubes, 3:73 gears and all the usual bolt ons.

After oil pump replacement starting getting
Active handling warming up
Service vehicle soon
Service active handling
Service vehicle soon

I would push reset on the dash and just keep driving and it never really bothered me, figured I would get it looked at early this season but motor blew so bigger problems.

New motor
418 LS3, Trick Flow 225, Fast 92, C6 90mm TB, 42lb injectors, same exhaust, gears and bolt ons.

Car hits reduced engine power which is immeadiately followed by the same active handling and service warnings. I disconnected the battery and all is well but the problem continues. The car was dyno tuned and had many WOT runs as well as staying over night and checking cold starts and they never had any issues.

I have approx. 25-30 miles on this new combination, I swung by the mechanic that did the install and he checked for codes and it's showing P1514.

So all you gurus please help a guy out, the new wife is a little pissy that our 15k plus upgrades to the vette have resulted in a car that you can only drive for a limited amount of time without disconnecting the battery.

make sure you re-installed you MAF plug correctly ! make sure its fully seated in the MAF housing. If that checks out i would look at the ABS pump Unit. These cars are known for issues with the Computer side of them.

Mine was getting the dreaded 1514 after my H/C install a couple weeks back - would mainly only do it on cold starts and it would die and say "reduced engine power" and I couldn't restart it without resetting the code. Anyways, 1514 is something where the computer's calculated airflow entering the motor is different than the actual airflow. I believe the computer sees it as a stuck open throttle body and then kills the motor. Anyways, there's a table in the tune where you just need to scale up the allowed error b/w actual and calculated airflow and then it shouldn't happen anymore.
