Transmission change possible?

Can a C6 auto transmission be put in a C5? If so how difficult is it? Thanks for any info you can add.

That'd be freaking sweet...

I honestly think the 4 speed we got for C5 is kinda bogus, it's the electronic version of the one in C4.

I understand C5s started in 97, but they could've given it a 5-speed or something during the mid-life update in 2001.

The LS1 is a good engine, and should be mated to a better trans!

This question has been asked more & more lately. Is gas mileage sometimes the concern? Paddle shift more “cool”? (Old term for you young persons)

I went from daily driving C3 Corvettes for DECADES at 11 –12 MPG to a C5 at 26+MPG highway and it seems like heaven to me.

Not easily, it's cheaper to trade in yours for a C6.
