Default Courtesy light circuit - help!?!

Sorry for the new thread in case I'm breaking any forum protocol. My Gentex thread was getting confusing and since I have TWO problems with the rearview mirror wiring I figured I'd split them up.

I'm having trouble locating the reason the Orange wire at my review mirror harness (not the always hot from the battery) does not measure any voltage ever. Even when the doors are open as it should.

First guess was the Fuse. #2 to be exact and turns out it was blown so I replaced it. But still no voltage.

I then researched more and think I read that it is the same circuit that the under hood light, the vanity mirrors in the visors, the passenger footwell and the glove compartment were on.

And here's where it gets weird.

Underhood light - works fine. Times out after some period of time
Vanity mirrors - work
Glove compartment - works
Passenger footwell - nothing
Orange wire at rearview mirror - nothing

I voltage tested the footwell harness, thinking it was the bulb, still nothing. I then swapped the bulb with the one in the glove compartment just to make sure and it still doesn't work (although the glove compartment works with the footwell bulb) SO its not the bulb.

Any ideas? I'm plum out.

tstar...you posted this wiring diagram on another thread

Hence the footwell and Orange 2 at the rearview harness are on another circuit? But I could be wrong...any advice?

That would be Fuse #29 in the IP Fuse Block.

You guys are awesome! The courtesy lights now work. Fuse #29 was blown.

Still have to check Orange 2 for voltage at the rearview mirror harness to be 100% sure, but I have confidence my future LED courtesy lights mod at the rearview mirror will have door switched power.

Default courtesy lights door problem

my courtesy lights seem to work fine when unlocked or with dash switch, but do not work when door is opened. It appears to be related to the retained accessory power since the lights don't come on and the radio doesn't go off when door is opened. I'm lost and need some help
