Default front end question

Another nood question... please bare with me.

The front end of my car looks like this:

I'd like it to look like this:

So a few questions. What is that called? Can it be added on to my car (1998 vert)? And how do they affect driving (rubbling on road when pulling into parking lots and what not)?

Thanks!

It's called a splitter. Yes, it will fit on your vert. They usually have to be painted and then installed with a combination of double stick body tape and screws (not that tough to do) It will reduce you front end clearance and you'll have to be a little more careful pulling into driveways and whatnot. Looks good though.

I'd knock that off the first time I drove it.

I'm thinking the same thing! My driveway just has a standard curb but I have to pull out on a huge angle otherwise the plastic du-dad (that’s what they’re officially called right?) rubs. I have a feeling the splitter would be hanging in no time!

But darn... they look great IMO!
