The 1431 code has to do with the common fuel gauge problem...You may need to have the fuel senders replaced.Also,there is an updated PCM recalibration to eliminate a false code 1431 (just released for the 2001) and you may want to do that first...
There is also an updated ABS calibration to eliminate a false code 1288...In other words,both faults can be addressed without even putting a wrench to your car,cool eh??? :cool:
