Cam Swap DIY?
Hi,
Can anyone point me to a DIY link for doing a Cam swap without changing the heads, springs etc. I keep finding references saying that the swap can be done without removing the heads, or even the intake, by using 5/16th dowel, but I don't think I have a clear enough picture in my mind to pull the trigger and go ahead with the swap.

Thats true. Just remove the front components from the engine. Remove the cam cover and you will see the two holes where you install the dowels. Turn the cam a couple times to get the lifters to stay up and slide in the dowels.
