Default Qustion about C5 drag pak setups!!!

Im looking to buy a drag pack setup for my C5Z. Wanted to know my different option, minus the CCW drag Pak or the GTO spairs. Cant I order some type of Weld or Billet Specialties or something in the same sizes and Backspacing as the CCW Paks? I already have the stock 16x8 camaro wheels, but Im looking for something that looks nice and also lightweight.

Thanks in Advance

JASON

Question is- do any of those companies make a 16" wheel?

I've seen 16" Bogart wheels.

Thats what I was thinking too. I know weld used to have a 16" rear rim. I guess if I can Get the right sizes and backspacing, I could call around. Does anyone know the exact specs on the CCW drag Packs?

it's not a offest issue, it's a cross section issue. the weld's are drawn parts and have too much taper in the barrel

I need to figure something out b/c even if I go with the CCW's, I have to get a 16" MT ET street tire. Thats what I have now on camaro wheels, but I cant get any traction what so ever. Does anyone make a 16" slick?

I cant remember exactly b/c its been so long but I think somewhere in the 14-18psi range. Any lower and I think it would be hard to keep straight down the track!!

Hoosier does. It's a 28x10x16.

Thanks. I just found that out today actually. Wheres the cheapest I can fint them. Also, is there any modifying I will have to do to the wheel wells? I already did the modifying to get the 16" camaro wheels to fit, but my 27" MT's rub under hard acceleration. I guess I can just raise the rear alittle
