How hot is too hot?
I have a 99FRC pretty much stock. On an 80 degree day in traffic, What should my car be running for coolant or oil temp. Mine crept up to about 220 today, seems a little hot to me, once I got moving it came down. Any info good or bad is welcomed.

kinda typical....get a tune to adjust your fan settings and a lower thermostat...if you turn your a/c on does your temp go down?...Today my HCI Z06 saw 196 in stop n go traffic 97 degrees out...on the highway i run 183-185 in these temps cruisin with the ac on...i run a 160 stat

Good answers. Typically, anything above 235, unless you're on a track, then something needs tending too in there and as mentioned already, debris blocking the condensor is the first and usual suspect.
