Installing complete 99 Corvette into a 58 Studebaker pickup for a customer.

I need someone that knows the Fuel lines, Wiring and brakes to contact me so I can see if they could enlighten me on how to hook up things without using the second fuel tank, and where the lines go from the filter/regulator. Also, the three outlets from the primary (Left) tank has 2 3/8 lines and 1 5/16 line. Which is the feed and which one do I plug? I am using all the corvette parts including the interior and dash, so the fuse boxes have me puzzled as to which on goes where and what gets plugged into them.

Brakes, I am not using any of the ABS, only the original booster and master cylinder, and need to know how the lines would be hooked up and if I would need a different adjustable valve going to the rear brakes.

It is an interesting project and hope to get it running by sometime soon.

Help!

I live in the San Fernando Valley, California so if someone you know or if you can contact me, I would be happy to hire you to help out on this.

Thanks

Jerome

For a project of that scope, I recommend you obtain a C5 service manual. All the answers to your questions are within.

Good luck

I do have all 3 manuels, but I don't see how one can follow the instructions when they don't give a description of (1) or (2) or (3) anywhere to show what that item is and/or where it hooks up to.

I paid $150.00 and got all 3 of the books, Maybe a college education and a degree on speed reading might help, non of which I have.

I am looking for that person that has worked on many conversions as this and would have had the same problems to solve.

If I ask just one question at a time, it may be easier to get an answer.

1. To eliminate the right fuel tank, what needs to be done with the existing lines? There are many! I only would need a supply and a return. Which one of the extra 3/8 lines do I plug? I am assuming the 5/16 line is the return from the engine, so where do I go with the 5/16 line from the regulator/fuel filter? Would they be tee'd together?

I'd check Painless performance. I think they have an LSX wiring harnesses for street rod type projects.
