Default How to remove rear bumper

How do you go about separating the rear bumper cover from the impact foam behind the cover. I've disconnected everything except these two studs/ bolts/ connectors of some sort. I'm not sure how they come out. Any ideas?

They don't have threads in the head for a screw driver. Could have stripped out during a previous removal. They just have a round divot in the center. As long as I know they were meant to screw out, I'm sure I can get a hold on them with something to get them turning.

They might be the Push Pin sytle fastners. They probably just pull out like many of the other fastners on the car.

Just did it last weekend. They screw out. Use a phillips or a flathead. They screw into the styrofoam bumper.
