I was under the assumption that a tune wasn't immediately necessary from installing headers. But, after installing ARH 3x3 long tubes, the Z pops under high and low acceleration. Starting from a stand still at an incline, and the Z still pops. Over 4k RPM, and it'll pop. I can drive moderately without any issues, but I'm wondering how long I can go without a tune?

I also have HPtuners on the way.
Define 'pops'. I've had headers and high-flow cats on mine w/o a tune for a year, and there are no other issues besides massive gurgling under deceleration. If it's making noises under acceleration, I'm guessing a loose plug wire.
I think you need to look at other things. I have seen 02's disagree with longtubes and die a quick death shortly after the install but what you are describing is something else. I think I would go over all my plugs and make sure the wires were on first and then check the ceramic on all plugs to make sure you didnt break one installing them back. Hptuners will help you find any problems you are having but I would go over my ignition system from the symptoms you are talking about.

I just did a little research and it may be backfiring from running too rich.
No. I made a huge note on this and made sure I didn't cross them. The passenger side plug is on the driver's side pipe and vice versa.
With ARH, the x-pipe is before the cats, so I'm not sure how that effects everything. When I get home, I'll check the wires and plugs.
If you did away with the front sensors and used the adapter harness and rear sensors in the front position, the sensors should not be crossed. The drivers side sensor in the drivers side plug and vice versa. Check your install directions and be sure.

I have been there before. The way TSP headers are made makes it easy to swap the 02's. I would check there
Mine ran ok after LG streets installed with high flow cats. I had typical codes rear o2 and switching error. I did ge a tune within two weeks and it did help, but not necessay

How did it help and what did you notice after the tune?
Anyway, the above thread issue may have been a cause of this issue also. Though, I did find that the two plug wires in the rear of the block, driver side were not making full contact with the plugs. I found this out by wriggling around on the wires. There was too much play in them. After dealing with that, the test drive was good. No more obvious backfire.
