short shifter install question...
I got the C6 Zo6 shifter for my car, but I have a question first. Is there a DIY that shows how to replace the whole assembly, box and all?
all the ones ive seen are just replacing just the top part, not the whole thing...

Installing the entire assembly requires loosening the two Torx screws that attach it to the tunnel as well as the coupler. You can use the shifter replacement procedure in the service manual to install and adjust it. I can email that to an address if you PM that to me. Meanwhile, here's a C6 shifter install thread I posted and a shifter install tutorial I did.

Thanks a lot. 
I actually just looked at the Hurst install about 10 minutes ago, thats what made me post my question lol. And your C6 install is the best I've seen and it should def be added to the Tech DIY sticky. Ive seen it before but I couldn't find it!
