No, but you do need to get it about 4' in the air.

Huh? The rear cradle needs to be ~4' in the air so that you have enough clearance to rotate in the over axle pipes.

If you need a how to for mufflers then I suggest you just take it to a shop before you break something.

Default Catback Fever

Here's a side view & rear view of BB Bullet install off 13 1/2" high ramps, w/ blocking at both rear puck areas. The rear shot shows the rear stabalizer dropped out of the way for install. Be safe!

When I did mine I had to move the rear swaybar out of the way. No big deal though and yes you will have to raise the car.

No there is nothing special you have to do, other than getting the rear high enough and dropping the rear stabilizer bar (4 bolts & 2 nuts.) to remove the old and install the new. It would be one of the most least difficult mods to do. Hardest part will probably be, deciding which cat back to go with. Be safe, and good luck.

The only other thing I can think of is, if you get the bullets, is to get a good set of earplugs and a bottle of tylenol.

Ragin Racin, a Forum sponsor is offering B&B's right now on sale. There is a Group Purchase ongoing in the C5 Parts. I got mine there a few months ago in the $600 range.

I have B&B Bullets, and I really don't think they're bad at all. If you put in a proper x-pipe it smooths them out a lot.

I'll have to give the xpipe a shot. Mine are loud as hell at 1700rpm.....which is where the car usually wants to be.

Your profile is not filled out. As to what specific's your car is? Auto, manual? If your automatic, it might be a bit much trying to keep the noise to a minimum. If you have a stick shift there shouldn't be a problem .

Just go over to C5 Parts and do a search. Type in Ragin Racin and it will pop up. He just brought it to the top again yesterday.
