CLB installed today....Phase 1 complete, Phase 2 next week
I'm the guy that starts the thread yesterday about two very reputable and very cooperative vendors who will be tuning vettes at Carlisle next week.
Just wanted to update everyone on my 99 A4 coupe that's been stranded in my garage all week.
Got CLB yesterday from Corvettes of Houston, had it installed (no charge) by a "former" very frustrated GM dealer here in town (frustrated with GM's lack of ability to solve the problem). As soon as it was installed....bingo...nasty DIC messages went away and the car was upa and running again.
I didn't start this thread to get another long discussion going..just wanted to update people and thank them. No need to reply...PM if you want.
Obviously it's only been one day but we're all hopeful that it will do the job.
As you said Chuck in the former thread, that's half the fix. Next week I will be at installation alley at the fairgrounds in Carlisle getting the "Great White" tuned by one of you guys and taking car of that nasty 2mph fuel shut off in the PCM programming.
I want to thank all of you that contributed to the previous thread...it was great and a very positive experience for all of us. I especially want to that Chuck and Doug for contributing so much and being there to answer our questions.
See you at Carlisle next week.
