Slipping reverse gear
I had my car's reverse gear slip on me on 3 occasions. I do the routine of shifting to a forward gear and then to reverse but sometimes it slips and i would not move....and oh yeah, that grinding sound. should i have something to worry about???

I've had similar problems with reverse. It is tough to engage it. It definitely lets you know if you don 't have it fully engaged (grinding noise). A couple of months ago the syncros went out completely on reverse. But, after the dealer replaced them I still had the same issues. I've taken it to 2 different Chevy dealers since then and they both told me there was nothing wrong with it. I have a Hurst shifter on backorder. I'm hoping the aftermarket shifter will help some.
