I'm going to dye some interior pieces, and have switched my carpet to black (from gray) with the exception of a few pieces I can't find.
I'm looking at SEM Sure coat and the MAMO Plastikote for the vinyl and plastic -- both seem to say they can also dye carpet and both come in a rattle can. I'm confused...
How can these products possibly work on carpet?
If I'm wrong about the two products above, what can be used to dye the carpet?
They work on carpet, but I have found that they wear off some over time and the carpet feels strange after you dye it. If it is only on small pieces, go for it, but expect to re-do it every year if it is in a high traffic area.
