Default 2001 Auto Advice

Hello

I am getting ready to start modding my 2001 auto. I need advice in the area of torque converters. I have always had a 6-spd and am tired of braking rear end parts so I figure I would give the auto a try. Anyway what brand and stall speed do you recommend. Also for rear end gears what gears are the best for the auto (i.e. 3.73)? I will be doing a heads and cam package with full exhaust and 100 shot of NOS. I hopping to get the car into the low 11's high 10's. I would like to achieve the 11's with drag tires like the Nitto's and the 10's with ET streets. So please share your experiences with running at auto and what times you are getting with the tires 60" and 1/4 mile, plus what other mods you have to get you there. And if there are any problems that I should be aware of.

Sorry for some many questions, the whole auto is a new challenge for me.

Thanks

I'm running a Protorque 2400 with 3.42's.The car will launch well at the track and it's still very drivable everyday. You will need a Transgo shift kit..I highly recommend it for the crisp shifts.

Check out this video for my best launch..1.72 60' with street Nittos
