Default convert and auto to manual???

Ive been looking at getting a corvette and i really want a 6 speed! However all the corvettes that i find seem to be automatics. So i was wondering how expensive and difficult it is to convert an automatic to a manual? Thanks

Expensive and not worth the trouble (time & expense).

There are plenty of quality manual transmission C5's available.

1. Step up (expand) your search
2. Be patient

Not worth the hassle if you do NOT have the car already-there are PLENTY of 6 speeds around. Where are you located?

No matter what happens, DO NOT SETTLE FOR AN AUTOMATIC.

I have an MN6 and it's a dream.

Not trying to hijack this thread, so excuse me if it seems that way. I do have an A4 that's a very nice car, 74k miles, so it doesn't have a lot of value, except to me. I have thought about swapping a 6spd for the A4 and have heard it's doable. Since that's the original thread, what say ye?
