Over the weekend, I started hearing what sounds like a creaking sound coming from somewhere in the dash. It's a 98 convertible. It could best be described as the creaking squeaking door sound that you hear in the scary movies. You can hear it about every minute or so. I get codes B0361 and B0363 for the left HVAC actuator. Could that be the sound that it's making? No comfort issues with the HVAC. Any advice on what it is and how to make it stop?

Does the noise sound like it's coming from your feet on the drivers side? The left acutator is in that area.
It's really hard to nail it down, but that would be the general location. Laying in the floor it sounded like it was above me maybe between the steering wheel and the stereo, but I couldn't tell for sure.

I was being general, but thats exactly where the actuator is located. Will you be troubleshooting/investigating the problem yourself?
