F Body ***** are 16mm X 1.50 threads. C5'S are 9/16 fine. Close but no cigar. I've taken stock shifters , cut them off at the base and welded on a 16mm shaft to make them work. That's what I'm running now.

Honest to God guys, I bought the Camaro Black leather **** and screwed it right on to my shifter on yhe 98 and The Z06. Both had rippers though but that shouldn't make a difference. It was tight going on and produced no rattle in either one, Honest Guys!!!! VNVETT

I would also be interested if I could get it in white with the 6-speed pattern engraved in it with black fill in the engraving. :)
For kind of a "retro" look.
I'm guessing this would require some type of anti-rotate, like a dog point set screw going into the keyway that's cut into the thread, coming up on an angle from under the **** so it would not be visible.
Wouldn't want the pattern spinning around, I would never know what gear I was in. :D
