I have an 04 Z06 that is acting up. The engine seems to not want to turn over. Both times it acted like the battery was dead. The first time I put a socket on the crank and "pulled" the engine through. After letting the battery charge it fired up. Today the same symptoms are present. A friend of mine told me to take the fuel injector rails loose and test to see if any were leaking when the key was turned to run. No leaks. I just removed the spark plugs and 2 of them were a little wet with fuel. The engine spins freely with the plugs out (obviously). Please help!!
Why do you think it isn't the battery? I'd also check the ground connection at the battery. It's not common to "vapor lock" these motors. Where are you located?
You need to explain better. It sounds like you think it's hydrolocked. Starters have been known to break the mounting area of the block. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ Very easily could be the battery, but you need to know for sure.

I have had the battery checked and its brand new...Last time it happened after I pulled it through a couple of times it fired right up...I drove it a short time and it ran great. Have not started it in a cople of days and not its the same thing as before. All grounds have been checked...

I'm not sure I understand your approach here. You have a no start condition, so you are rotating the engine by hand, and then it starts up?
So are you saying the engine does not rotate when the starter engages the flywheel?
For future..a faster way to check for injector bleed down, is to use a pressure gauge at the fuel rail.
