Default Steering column lock up
The service manager at a Chevrolet dealership assured me that the column would NOT lock up when driving.

It was reported to have happened to a couple of members here a few years ago. Neither was hurt nor were the cars damaged.

I would believe him--once it has disingaged i cant see how or why it would just go into the lock position--thx
