Replacing the Brake Line hoses
I purchased the goodridge SS brake hoses and want to know if there is anything special that I should know about the processi fo installing these hoses. Special brake fluid or Dot 3 or 4 etc...? I am in the process of painting the calipers with the folia-tec. Any help in this process will be gratefully and graciously accepted! Thanks, in advance! :D

I replaced my hoses with the Goodrich hoses. Installation was straightforward (pay attention to the direction of the lines so that the stainless steel braiding dosen't make contact with your wheels). The replacement lines are slightly longer than stock, and need a little bit of care to make sure they are "dressed" properly. Other members will have recommendations for fluids depending on whether you drive the car on the track & street or only the street.

I replaced my hoses with braided stainless steel along with Z06 calipers and new rotors.
very straight forward, no special tools or procedures aside from the standard brake bleeding procedure. :cheers:
