rear end knocking/clunking help please
hello, i have a 2000 vette hard top with 63,000 miles on, while driving everything seems ok until about 15 minutes in, when the suspension and trans warms up i start to hear a knocking/clunking noise, it is very audible. it almost sounds like a golf ball bouncing around inside the car. it only happens on the driver side once everything warms up. ive been under the car, inspected everything, cleaned everything, all bushings look great, car has never seen bad weather or water. any input is greatly appreciated thanks -bob

You may need to lube up the half shaft at the hub. They have a nasty habit of rusting, and then they start to make this really loud popping sound from time to time.
