removing Air Dam Deflector

Default removing Air Dam Deflector
Is anyone removing the air dam deflector when they drop there corvette. I want to drop mine but the deflector is scraping the ground all the time now and it will only get worst if i drop it. So what do you guys think.

Some folks shorten the dam a little but it does help provide engine cooling so removing it may not be wise.
