Something is just not right
For the last month or so my car doesn't feel right. I can't pin point the problem but it feels like there just isn't enough power. Normally I can gently push the accelerator to get the car to do what I want but now the car down shifts just to get a few miles per hour faster.
Now last night the cruise control starting to disengage on its own. I'm completely lost. I'm wondering if I have a bad ignition. I burned out a brand new fuel pump a few months ago and the dealer replaced it. I still have to check the voltage of the pump to see if the ignition is producing the right current.
Could a bad ignition not supply enough voltage to the fuel pump and in return not create enough PSI for HP? Oh yea, the new fuel pump is much much louder than the one before.
Could a bad ignition be causing the cruise control to disengage?
Any thoughts?
